Band Happenings

Hello Glacier Peak Band members and families!

It's starting! The new school year is about to begin! We're all looking forward to a great year full of great music.

Here are some things you should know:

• THIS MONTH, our band booster meeting will be Thursday, September 3. Please join us!
• Our PARENT'S MEETING will be on Tuesday, 9/8. This is a great opportunity to get up to speed on everything you need to know about being a part of the Glacier Peak High School Band program.
• Also on Tuesday, 9/8, and immediately after the parent's meeting, is the DISNEY MEETING. This is an important meeting for everyone thinking about participating in this great experience. The Disney trip occurs on April 5-9 during Spring Break.
• JAZZ BAND TRY-OUTS begin on Tuesday, 9/8, at 6:30am in the Band Room! Please bring your instrument! Participants will play together in groups, read some fun charts, and practice for individual auditions the following week.
• Grizzly Band photos are now available at https://www.jasonjkimphotography.com/p570451283. They are free to download for the next two and a half months.

You can also join us in person at our board meetings. Meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month @ 7pm in the GPHS Band Room.
